Requests to government services

When you decode a VIN, your browser calls NHTSA and fueleconomy.gov directly. Their servers may answer with technical cookies, such as load-balancing cookies on api.nhtsa.gov, which belong to those agencies and follow their policies. Blocking third-party cookies in your browser does not stop the decoder from working.

Stability monitoring

Microsoft Clarity is loaded in cookie-free mode to detect errors and broken pages. It sets no cookie and masks everything you type.
